Roll & Grip make Dual Action Hand Spray Gun HB-35 is ideal for spraying of die coats on small forging, die-casting and rubber moulding dies. This gun is also suitable where gentle spraying of die coat is needed. The spray gun has two hose connectors for supply of air and die-coat. It has a liquid control valve on the upper side of the spray gun for controlling quantity of die coat being sprayed. The long aluminium bend pipe provides easy access to all parts of die from safe working distance. The angle of bend of the aluminium pipe ensures proper reach and application of die-coat to innermost and difficult to reach die parts.
The air is needed at pressure of 5 Kg/cm2 or more for getting powerful air blast. For applications where air blast is not needed and where the surface to be coated is small the air can be supplied at reduced pressure. Similarly where gentle spraying is desired air at lower pressure is used. The die coat can be supplied using gravity feed arrangement or pressure feed container.
The spray gun works in two steps. Partially pressing the handle releases air blast which is for blowing scales and cleaning the die. Pressing the handle completely gives out spray of die coat. The effectiveness of air blast depends on air pressure. The spray, depending on air pressure, would be powerful or gentle and the complete die can be covered with least gun movement.
The Dual Action Hand Spray Gun HB-35 comes with different lengths of aluminium bend pipe to suit the requirement. e.g. HB-35-150 (150 mm Al. pipe), HB-35-300 (300mm Al. pipe) etc. The length of the aluminium pipe should be selected considering the size of machine, size of die and the distance between operator and the die.
